I was unimpressed with my performance too. Will do better next time. Fred may have taken the fight on 4 days notice but he did just fight recently. He was going to knock me out if I stood with him so I did what I had to do to win the fight. Fred is a not only a great guy but very strong and incredibly tough!

wow john cook should be disgusted with his performance. he not only looked like shit…he made evolve look like shit. maybe maddigan can teach cook how to tap out from strikes since its clear NO ONE from that gym likes to stand and bang! evolve might as well become extinct because ALL their fighters except for that TRAVIS THE TERROR are PUSSIES.cook stop fightin and teach your guys how to lay and pray! u already got the lion teachin how to tap out, so cook can teach them how to rastle! A very young 41. I have only been training MMA seriously for about eight months. I run a very busy business and focus mostly on managing and training the team for strength and conditioning. Hopefully by fifty I will be good! LOL. I really love the team and want the best for them and the sport. My brother is a two time NCAA champion from Arizona state in wrestling. He got all the skills in the family. I promise to be better next time out. Hopefully in february.
I am was blessed to remain healthy during my training camp! That was a miracle in itself. I did drop from 230!

I do work with the new guys and offer myself up as a training partner when needed but I have never claimed to be a good fighter. I do train hard but I understand that at my age it is tough to compete with young studs in a stacked NAAFS.

I think people are forgeting that John Cook won his fight. no he didnt ko the guy but it was a clear win and a good fight for his first one. and as for rick sandlin, after his firt 3 fights he had a huge jump in competetion. he is a tough guy who will be back. he just lost to 3 tough fighters.
