Saling will be replacing Sean Huffman who was not approved by the Ohio Athletic Commission to take on Duell in Saturday night’s main event. Huffman was replacing the injured Alex Trevino who was originally scheduled to face Duell. Saling comes in to this match up a winner of four of his last five fights including a dominant KO win over former contender Mickey Hughes in Morgantown, WV just a few weeks ago. A veteran of Bellator, Saling has gone 2-1 inside the NAAFS cage.

Duell has been on a tear as well and comes into Saturday’s bout a winner in seven of his last eight fights finishing five of the seven opponents. Another impressive win for Duell may once again elevate him to a top prospect status among the sports best at 170 lbs.  

Saling will look to steel Duells thunder if he can pull off the upset on short notice and continue his impressive run as a pro. After defeating Hughes in his last bout, Saling asked the NAAFS for a step up in competition and called out two former champions in Duell and Chris Lozano.

Naturally, you are bound to run into a few bad seeds here and there, but the majority of the fighters who take their sport seriously are the most humble and motivated people you could ever care to meet.

“Wild Wild” Wes Hanson, who trains out of Glenville, West Virginia is no exception.

Hanson is an MMA fighter rising up the ranks of the North American Allied Fight Series (NAAFS). On Saturday, February 18, he will be taking his 5-0 amateur record into the cage against the undefeated Thomas Uylenbroek (5-0).

Wes recently took the time to speak to Bleacher Report and opened up regarding his training, future goals and motivations.

If one were to search for footage online of one of Wes’s fights, they would likely see a couple of his amateur boxing bouts.
